Director, Construction Risk
Stuart joined Nucleus in December 2014, bringing with him over 18 years of financial and commercial experience in the construction, manufacturing, corporate recovery and restructuring sectors. He previously worked for a global US engineering company, a national property developer and a national multi-disciplinary, construction consultancy practice.
He has particular expertise in providing strategic advice on construction projects and companies, due diligence, project audit and construction-related insolvencies and has provided key advisory support to banks, lenders, investors, accountants and solicitors on many of the major UK construction insolvencies.
Stuart continues to provide advice across a wide spectrum of sectors within the construction industry focusing on independent business reviews, liquidity assessments, balance sheet audits, contractual disputes, pre-pack sales’ valuations and contract risk evaluation and assessment.
Stuart holds a master's degree in Quantity Surveying, a bachelor's degree with honours in European Business Studies and is a dual qualified chartered management accountant (ACMA/CGMA) and chartered management consultancy surveyor (MRICS).
